Momo Arashima is a 12-year-old girl living a difficult life, caring for her sick mother and struggling at school. Everything changes when she discovers she is half-human and half-goddess, and that her mother is actually a banished Japanese deity.
When supernatural creatures begin to invade the human world, Momo learns that a dangerous portal to the land of the dead is opening. To stop the chaos and save her mother, she sets out on a quest to find a powerful magical weapon called the Sword of the Wind.
