Sisterland tells the story of identical twin sisters, Kate and Violet, who grow up together in a quiet suburb but develop very different lives. Kate chooses a normal, stable family life, while Violet claims to have psychic abilities and can predict future events.
When Violet warns that a major earthquake may hit their area, her prediction draws media attention and disrupts both sisters’ lives. Kate is forced to reconnect with her sister and confront their complicated past and strained relationship.
