Harry returns to Hogwarts for his fifth year, where the Ministry of Magic refuses to accept Voldemort’s return. A strict new teacher, Dolores Umbridge, takes control of the school and bans real defensive magic lessons.
In response, Harry forms “Dumbledore’s Army” to secretly teach students how to defend themselves. He also experiences disturbing visions linked to Voldemort, connecting him more closely to the Dark Lord.
Believing Sirius Black is in danger, Harry and his friends go to the Ministry of Magic, where they are ambushed by Death Eaters. A battle breaks out, and Sirius is killed.
Dumbledore fights Voldemort, and a prophecy is revealed: Harry and Voldemort are destined to face each other, and only one will survive.
