In this crime thriller, Sergeant Lindsay Boxer investigates a series of murders targeting former police officers in San Francisco. Each victim is executed and left with a warning message, suggesting someone is trying to silence them.
At the same time, Lindsay works on a related case involving drug and arms trafficking across the U.S.–Mexico border, which appears to be connected to the killings. With the help of the Women’s Murder Club, she uncovers a larger criminal conspiracy involving corrupt former officers and organized crime.
