The Song of Achilles tells the story of Patroclus, a young exiled prince who becomes the close companion and lover of Achilles, the greatest Greek warrior. Raised together and trained by the centaur Chiron, they form a deep emotional bond that turns into love.
When the Trojan War begins, Achilles is called to fight to fulfill his destiny and gain eternal glory. Patroclus follows him out of love and concern. During the war, Patroclus is killed while wearing Achilles’ armor, mistaken for Achilles himself. Devastated by grief, Achilles seeks revenge and kills Hector. Soon after, Achilles also dies, fulfilling his tragic fate.
