The animals of Manor Farm rebel against their human owner, Mr. Jones, hoping to create a society based on equality and freedom. At first, the farm is run collectively, and all animals are supposed to be equal. However, the pigs gradually take control, especially Napoleon, who becomes a dictator. They change the rules to benefit themselves and use propaganda to manipulate the other animals. In the end, the pigs become just like the humans they replaced. The original ideals of the revolution are completely betrayed, and the farm turns into another form of dictatorship.
