Meanwhile, Ekon is on the run after leaving his former order. He travels through dangerous lands in search of Koffi while also discovering hidden truths about his own past and the divine forces shaping their world.
Separated but still connected by fate, both Koffi and Ekon move toward a confrontation with powerful gods that will test their strength, loyalty, and identity.
